Yamaha XDA-QS5400RK “QS” Quad Streamer

Specifically designed for custom home audio system integration, the QS (Quad Streamer) model provides four zone audio streaming and eight channels of high-quality audio amplification in an ultra-slim 1U rackmount enclosure. Expandable and highly flexible, the QS works with the MusicCast multi-room audio system to connect it to home theater AV receivers, soundbars and Hi-Fi equipment in a wide range of configurations.

The QS5400 has several key strengths, including the availability of four independent streaming zones (QS = "Quad Streamer") and amplification in an ultra-slim 1U rack-mountable enclosure. The system can be expanded to 32 zones with simultaneous playback in linked groups of up to 20 zones. The QS was designed for audiophile performance. It features 8 channels of ICEpower Class D amplification, outputs 100 watts per channel (4 ohms) with the ability to go up to 200 watts per channel (8 ohms) and utilizes ESS Sabre DACs that support high resolution playback up to 192kHz / 24-bit. It also offers some interesting and unique integration features such as a web-based setup menu for quick setup, backup and system restore.
