With it's sturdy metal case which is resistant to electromagnetic noise and mechanical vibration, the Project CD Box SE is a step up in sound quality and performance from the standard Project CD Box as you would expect. High quality Burr Brown PCM1796 DACs decode the audio stream from the dedicated CD transport to a resolution of 24 bit 192kHz for fabulous sound quality. A remote control which controls the CD player, and the other Project audio components completes the package. Gold plated RCA audio output sockets ensure a reliable and high quality connection to your chosen amplifier.
Control of the CD Box SE is easily accomplished using either the aluminum-cap front panels buttons, or the included remote control. For maximum readability the 1.54” OLED display can be switched from dark numbers on a pale background or pale numbers on a dark background- perfect for late night listening.
