Designed to meet all the requirements of the modern digital music lover, the ND8006 combines features that typically require two or three separate components. It is built on the basis of two successful models-NA8005 and SA8005, but with a complete rethinking of the set of functions and design. The ND8006 combines a CD player with a digital source node that offers playback of files from your home network, USB drives, Internet sources such as streaming services and Internet radio, HEOS support, and DAC features that allow you to connect directly to computers and other devices. It is protected from moral aging, because it accepts file formats up to 11.2 MHz DSD and 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM, in addition, it can receive audio via Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth to play music from portable devices.
The ND8006's built-in HEOS technology allows you to stream music and play it wirelessly from virtually unlimited sources. Enjoy your music from Spotify, TuneIn Internet Radio, Sound Cloud, Tidal, Napster, Deezer, or from your local music library. And with additional HEOS components, such as HEOS speakers or HEOS-equipped receivers, you can listen to music throughout your home. All of them can be easily managed using the HEOS app.
Optical and coaxial digital inputs, as well as a USB-B port, allow you to receive music directly from your PC or MAC or connect other digital sources. USB-B works asynchronously to support not only high-resolution 384 kHz/32-bit audio, but also DSD 2.8 MHz, 5.6 MHz and even 11.2 MHz-for maximum quality and the best way to enjoy excellent sound quality. To ensure sound quality when connected to a computer, Marantz created extended isolation around the USB-B input to eliminate the possibility of high-frequency noise generated by the computer entering the ND8006. The CD player is excellent, reproducing a rich and well-defined sound. Reads disks quickly, sound is clear. Does not get warm. Perfectly plays different formats.
