Review

An excellent device, I have been using it for several years. It reproduces almost everything that is needed: from rare Audio-CD and SACD to files on rewritten discs, from folk *.mp3 to the aesthetic Hi-ReS formats. By the way, the device was deprived of Cyrillic, it is not displayed either in the file list or in the text of the tags. In connection with the worldwide pierce of SACD, I had to master the converting SACD.iso into the *.dsf files and their write on DVD-R. I recommend the result. The apparatus reproduces musical material correctly, the difference in the information of albums remains is heard. The apparatus fits well into the line of 1600 and will not bring in tandem with a senior amplifier from the series 2500. The design is closer to the classics, strict, not minimalistic. He took in black. Prior to this, there was also Denon, a set of mini-hifi blocks in the color of Shampan, I took everything new, in boxes, and the color of the color of the blocks did not match and was insulting. There is no such problem with black. In height, a player is about 135 mm, which may be a problem in some racks for equipment.

The foreoppical player from Denon, the Japanese assembly, which is quite rare in this price segment, high-quality components were compared in the sound “on the forehead” with Denon DCD-720 on a non-class integral amplifier, the difference in sound, of course, is, but not dramatic. It should open up well in a bunch with a native 1600 amplifier.
