I like the many useful features, such as the volume setting when you turn it on, as well as the ability to adjust the levels of individual inputs. It has a great bass management system, including an adjustable high-pass filter to remove low frequencies from the main speakers that you pass to the subwoofer. Everything is adjustable with the remote control. I also think it sounds great!

The balance between the price of the Parasound NewClassic 200 and its option set is amazing. Moreower, sound quality is outstanding. I like precision, detail and neutrality, and this was a brilliant choice. NewClassic 200 delivers an extended and captivating soundstage, notable 3D stereo sound effects, and extraordinarily detailed and nuanced presentation. I have been using Parasound for almost 30 years. And all its components are great. I have used NewClassic 200 with Acarian Systems Alon 1 speakers and with Magnepan MMG speakers. The reliability of this Parasound is amazing. The 200 Pre amplifier has many inputs. There's USB, optical and coaxial, as well as a DAC section. There are three analog line stage inputs. INPUT 1 can be changed from the line stage to the input of a moving magnet phono stage or to the input of a moving coil phono stage. The gain in MM mode is 40 dB (impedance of 47 K ohms), in MC mode is 50 dB ( impedance of 100 ohms.) It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a set of bypass inputs for home theater. Also there is the input-multifunction control on the front panel. It allows me to control Bass, balance and treble. Also i can regulate the subwoofer output level. Also located here connectors for the 12-volt trigger, RS-232, IR port. The graphic display on the front panel includes a large volume indicator and information about the input selector. I can clearly see the volume settings and I like that because I can adjust the volume for only my taste. I would like to say that the remote control is very simple and easy to use. I don't even have to look at it when i regulate smth because my fingers just have to know the buttons. And i can listen to my favorite music even close my eyes.

Parasound makes high-end preamplifiers and powerful amplifiers. The integrated amplifier Halo Hint 6 covers all of my needs with its wide function set. The Hint 6 is Class A/B power amp into 8 ohms. Its power is about 160 watts. It's more than enough. It also has a headphone amp, USB input, analog inputs (XLR and RCA), MM and MC phono stage. The exterior amp is attractive and with superb quality of the cabinet. However, like all equipment of Parasound. I bought it first of all for vinyl. After listening to one side, i understand that the Hint 6 phono stage does its job perfectly. I have no complaints about the ergonomics. The Halo Hint 6 get a very low noise level, without overheat, and is fully controllable with the remote control. I was surprised that the amplifier was cool after leaving it on for 24 hours. The Parasound Halo Hint 6 is awesome equipment. I really liked it a lot. It gives off class, sounds great and the finish is top level. I also really liked the price.
