The NS-F700 Floorstanding Speakers designed to play music in accordance with the Natural Sound concept, with a natural delivery of the entire breadth of the sound range and rich, dynamic bass.
The NS-F700 speakers are so realistic in their sound reproduction that it feels alive. One of the main reasons for this is the non - parallel design of the enclosure walls. When developing them, the team of the acoustic division of Yamaha tried to achieve maximum clarity and three-dimensionality of sound while minimizing the effect of internal "standing waves". They designed a rounded top panel that helps level out vertical "standing waves", and a trapezoid shape that serves to reduce horizontal ones. The result of the applied design solutions is a naturalistic surround sound, which makes the NS-F700 speakers excellent for multi-channel music of any genre, as well as for home theater.
Yamaha's extensive woodworking experience has been successfully applied to the construction of hull joints. These techniques provide extremely precise and tight connections, so the entire speaker body behaves as a single unit, providing a dense reproduction of the bass register.
