The superior quality of Wireworld’s exclusive Gold-Tube RCA plugs and parallel oxygen-free copper wire conductors in the patented DNA Helix design enable Chroma 8 to outperform conventional coaxial digital audio/video cables that sell for far more.
The model has a proprietary geometry that ensures uniform signal transmission over a wide range of frequencies. The conductor of the cable is made of high-quality oxygen-free copper, with the central conductor being a braid around a dielectric "core". This configuration, combined with the oval shape of the cross-section, guarantees the absence of a skin effect, that is, an uneven distribution of signals of different frequencies over its cross-sectional area.
