Sonus Faber Floorstanding Speakers Amati Tradition Wenge
The Homage Tradition collection includes four models: Amati, Guarneri, Vox and the new Serafino, a 3.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker named after the master lute player Sunctus Serafini.
The "Stealth Ultraflex" system used is an evolution of the "Stealth Reflex", its external part is located on the rear panel of the speaker, made of aluminum, and regulates the airflow while controlling its speed, thus reducing turbulence and therefore distortion. The entire back panel is also part of the new Exosqueleton system along with Dampshelves on the top and bottom of the cabinet.
The Sonus Faber Amati retains the classic optimized suspension system.
The midrange module used throughout the Homage Tradition series was borrowed from Il Cremonese and further developed. The cross-sectional shape of the cross section of the collection's cabinet follows the shape of a lute, and is the fruit of careful research and the basis of restyling. The geometry of the side lines of the cabinet has changed to be similar to the Sonus Faber Lilium model, giving it smaller visual dimensions, but with a larger internal volume, making it less prone to resonances.
A distinctive feature of the redesigned Homage Tradition Series is the top, which is now made of wood in the same finish as the entire cabinet. The Sonus Faber Guarneri model stands play a key role in the development of this acoustic project. They are made of carbon fiber using "monocoque" technology, which was made possible thanks to the experience gained working with Pagani Automobili and designing the Ex3ma. The curved shape of the struts, while reducing weight compared to their predecessors, provides high rigidity and makes them more acoustically transparent.
Homage Tradition Series models are available in two finishes:
Red - traditional walnut wood grain with dark inlays combined with dark aluminum inlays and black leather.
Wenge - used for the first time by Sonus faber - maple structure combined with titanium aluminum inlays and brown leather.
