Sonetto Center II is the oldest model of central channel speakers in the eponymous line of Italian-made Sonus Faber loudspeakers. Acoustics have a three-way configuration, high performance and attractive design, and speakers are used when arranging home theaters or building multi-channel music sets.
The central channel of the Sonus Faber Sonetto Center II looks sophisticated, stylish and modern. The speakers have a truncated wall shape to the rear, while a removable fabric grill can be placed on the front panel, which has almost invisible magnetic holders that allow you to quickly remove and put it on.
The body of the Sonus Faber Sonetto Center II loudspeakers is assembled from solid walnut wood, and additional screeds are placed inside to stiffen the structure, dampen vibrations and prevent resonances. The central channel has a bass reflex design with round pipe output ports on the rear wall. There are also screw terminals on the back for connecting an amplifier, speakers, or subwoofers.
The Sonetto Center II center channel acoustics of the Italian brand Sonus Faber are equipped with two woofers and with two midrange cone emitters with diffusers made of cellulose and natural fibers. Such diaphragms have good flexural rigidity and low weight, which ensures a smooth, long stroke. The high-frequency tweeter is made in the form of a silk dome DKM, made using DAD technology, equipped with a neodymium magnet and placed in a shallow waveguide.
Crossovers differ in efficiency and reliability, because they are made according to the Paracross Topology circuit technology based on selected components.
