As typical of Rotel amplifiers, the RA-1572MKII utilizes an in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. The toroidal transformer’s shape helps prevent stray radiation patterns from corrupting audio signals as they pass through adjacent circuits. The transformer feeds a bank of 4 low ESR, high efficiency, T-Network slit-foil storage capacitors for deep, controlled bass energy.
The RA-1572MKII support digital sources utilizing a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz DAC with critically tuned output filter circuits rendering even the most subtle detail. The preamplifier circuits and linear amplifier gain stages have been custom engineered ensuring natural detail, agility and an immersive soundstage. Analog, digital, PC-USB supporting MQA, aptX and AAC wireless Bluetooth streaming, XLR Balanced and Moving Magnet Phono stage inputs ensures connection to your favorite sources.
The RA-1572MKII is certified Roon Tested delivering the best experience using Roon software so you can just enjoy the music.
The front panel includes a status display, source and volume controls, Speaker A-B selection for Zone 2, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Ethernet and RS232 connections allow seamless integration with control systems and software updates.

So, after the return of the previous Rotel RA-1572 amplifier (the first modification) in connection with the warranty case (detailed review in my profile), the question arose of acquiring a new device.
I chose from: Arcam HDA SA20; Denon PMA-1600NE; Magnat Ma 900; Maratz PM8006; NAD C 368; Cambridge Audio CXA81; Cambridge Azur 851a; Roksan K3; Rotel RA-1572 Mk II. Of the above, I liked Rotel and Marantz, everyone else did not go by sound at all, especially British (English) firms.
The Rotel amplifier operates in conjunction with Magnat Transpuls 1500 and Maratz CD 6006. When listening to the store, the Maratz CD 6007 was used. The Wire World Solstice 8 Interconnect was used. Acoustic cable Norstone Classic CL600 (Norstone Banana Plugs Gold connectors).
Genre: rock and metal on the CD carrier.

Bright, detailed, soft and at the same time assertive and powerful sound. It is worth noting that the amplifier also sounds excellent at a low volume level. When listening, you experience a drive, you just want to "shake Hair."

?Speech of the tar?: in the process of reproduction through the DAC there are clicks and micropauses when touching the volume handle, to the amplifier body and to the CD player. This phenomenon was discovered in the store of the store, it turned out that clicks and micropauses are present when touched by non -connected fork / residential wire to the phonor -correcting connector. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Great sound. At a small volume level, it gives out excellent quality, which allows you to not increase the volume and scare the neighbors. It has the whole set of modern functions that I do not need, however. The main thing is the sound quality!

The Rotel 1572 amplifier I acquired for the Focal Chora 826 columns for half a year. At first I listened to Denon 720 with a bunch. The sound quality immediately grew very noticeable. The scene extended, the detail increased, in some things that I have been listening to different formats for decades, began to notice new, previously unknown nuances. This is an interesting sensation! He is quite worth the money. I listen to mainly rock, the room is 20-25 m. I recommend it to everyone.
