Pro-Ject Signature Headshell Chrome
The Pro-Ject Signature chrome Shell is designed to accommodate 1/2-inch mount pickups. Shell is made of aluminum and coated with chromium to reduce weight. The model is designed to be mounted on tonearms with an SME mount. A special feature of the Pro-Ject Signature chrome shell design is the presence of a side screw for azimuth adjustment. This makes it easier to set up the player.
The Pro-Ject Signature chrome pickup holder is made of aluminium used in the aviation industry. The result is a rigid structure with low weight. Shell has good anti-resonance performance and mechanical stability. Since aluminium is a non-magnetic material, Pro-Ject Signature chrome is suitable for installing MC cartridges.
Convenient azimuth adjustment Shell Pro-Ject Signature chrome is equipped with a side screw in the base for adjusting the azimuth
angle. Simply loosen this screw, reposition the cartridge, and then lock it into place. There is no need to rotate the tonearm tube. To adjust the azimuth angle, you can use the Align It template.
Shells of different designs have individual mechanical properties. Replacing the shell is one way to fine-tune the sound character of a turntable.
