Polk RC-85i In-wall Speakers

Fill a room with sound by installing this pair of White RC85i In-Wall Speakers from Polk Audio. Designed for installation in any wall or ceiling, the Speakers have a wide dispersion pattern and aimable swivel mount tweeters that enable you to direct their sound. Each Speaker features an 8" mineral-filled polypropylene cone mid-bass driver with a 1" soft-dome tweeter.

The RCi Speakers utilize the "virtual enclosure" of your in-wall space to enhance their bass response and smooth low frequency blending with the midrange. Lightweight and stiff blue polymer cones deliver damping and bass response. Durable, computer-modeled, injection-molded butyl rubber surrounds suppress unwanted cone resonances for reliable sound. Aimable swivel tweeters for greater accuracy and more realistic imaging.

Patented dynamic balance technology allows Polk engineers to design out distortion-causing driver and system resonances. This technology uses laser measurement to ensure a smooth excursion path at either end of the volume spectrum for uniform performance at both low and high volumes. RCi Series Speakers are timbre-matched to other Polk Speakers to insure seamless blending from Speaker to Speaker in systems that combine traditional and built-in Speakers.
