Musical Fidelity's Nu-Vista CD Player combines top quality manufacturing and elegant design with flawless technical implementation. The stylish weighted case effectively eliminates any parasitic vibrations, which has a favorable effect on the accuracy of optical head positioning and data reading. The new player is virtually identical in terms of workmanship and performance to the previously released Nu-Vista 800 integrated amplifier model. Audiophiles will appreciate the Nu-Vista CD Player's low distortion and ultra-low noise, high linearity and excellent phase accuracy.
To achieve the highest sound quality, the Nu-Vista CD Player features a dual differential 32-bit audio DAC utilizing delta-sigma conversion technology. The high linearity of the DAC (<0.1dB to -96dB) contributes to the most accurate reproduction of complex dynamic music programs. The high-speed processor provides 8x oversampling of the input stream of digital audio data, adding detail to the sound and improving the accuracy of song reproduction. The signal-to-noise ratio of 117dB combined with low nonlinear distortion and low jitter allows the listener to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting world of music.
Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista CD Player authentically reproduces the soundstage, with beautifully detailed and accurately localized images. The main advantages of the player are its neutral sound character and its highest fidelity combined with a delicate treatment of even the most complex nuances.
When paired with the Nu-Vista 800 amplifier, the sound is even more flawless and realistic. When the Nu-Vista series works together, the music literally envelops the listener and gives a sensation comparable to being in a concert hall.
The player is equipped with two independent digital coaxial and optical inputs. Digital coaxial and optical output ports are also mounted on the patch panel. The Nu-Vista CD Player is equipped with symmetrical (XLR) and asymmetrical (RCA) terminals for connection to an amplifier. An infrared remote control is included.
