The Motion AFX Dolby Atmos enabled speaker features a 0.75-inch aluminum dome tweeter and 5.25” polypropylene cone bass/midrange driver with stamped steel basket, all incorporated into a beautiful High Gloss Black cabinet that is voice-matched with MartinLogan Motion speakers. The shape of the Motion AFX cabinet is specifically designed to angle the drivers towards the ceiling in order to accurately deliver a Dolby Atmos sound experience above the listeners.
Engineering Genius
What makes the Motion Series sound so amazing? MartinLogan's dedicated in-house engineering team started by utilizing and refining the most advanced, compact technologies and combining them with innovative engineering. The result is an emotionally engaging sound that rivals (and most times trounces) traditional loudspeakers of similar size and price.
Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers
MartinLogan Motion AFX Dolby Atmos enabled speakers are designed to create a height layer of sound above the listener that better connects viewers with the richness, detail and clarity of the on screen experience. The Motion AFX is designed to sit on top of floorstanding and bookshelf speakers in MartinLogan’s Motion series. These models include the Motion 15, 20, 35XT, 40 and 60XT. Designed to reflect sound off of the ceiling in a Dolby Atmos entertainment system, The AFX will also work with other brands of speakers with a flat top. For systems where a speaker-top mounting is not possible, other installation options are available.
Immersive Dolby Atmos Experience
Dolby Atmos delivers captivating sound that places and moves audio anywhere in the room, including overhead, to bring entertainment alive all around the audience. Whether you are listening to music, movies, television shows, or playing your favorite video games, Dolby Atmos delivers the full impact of the entertainment experience.

About brand
Martin Logan
Martin Logan is a Canadian/US company producing conventional subwoofer speakers as well as floor-standing, wall-mounted, and in-wall hybrid speakers using electrostatic loudspeaker and planar magnetic thin film loudspeaker technology. In 1989, and again in 1990, Inc. magazine recognized MartinLogan as one of the 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The early 1990s saw the rise of home theater with the availability of new multi-channel sources. MartinLogan delivered the world’s first electrostatic center-channel speaker, Logos, and on-wall surround-channel speakers, Stylos. Engineered for instant, accurate response, and matched to the performance levels of existing electrostatic loudspeakers, these utterly new designs established MartinLogan as a major force in home theater.By the mid-aughts, with the development of more advanced technology, MartinLogan personified superior quality and performance in the rarified electrostatic loudspeaker space. This reputation was bolstered by groundbreaking innovations throughout the early decade of the new century. These included the development of MicroPerf ESL stator technology, as well as the first use of non-ESL Advanced Thin Films. This was the seed that would ultimately bloom as Folded Motion tweeter technology. The high-end Summit electrostatic loudspeaker, first introduced in 2005, garnered rave reviews from the professional audio press for both performance and design. It pioneered the use of MartinLogan’s Ultra-Rigid AirFrame, a precision-manufactured panel frame that improved stability, and thus imaging and detail.Today, MartinLogan continues in the tradition of its innovative founders, with hands-on design and engineering, and proprietary manufacturing techniques. Constant improvements on the vanguard of electrostatic and thin film transducer technology keep MartinLogan on the cutting edge of audio innovation.
