Cinema 30 Black
A masterpiece of audio architecture, the Marantz Model 30 amplifier is equipped with HDAM circuits and class D amplification to deliver as efficiently as possible a strong power of 2 x 100 watts at 8 ohms. It incorporates carefully selected high-end components after hundreds of hours of adjustments made by the Marantz Sound Master to provide delicate details and unforgettable musicality. Like the brand's other electronics, the Marantz Model 30 amp is built to the highest standards. It adopts a robust aluminum chassis to ensure an excellent reduction in mechanical and electrical interference. The design of it is inspired by the emblematic Marantz electronics of the 50s to 70s. Inside this single case, the Marantz Model 30 amplifier adopts a special architecture since it is designed in two separate blocks, with a separate pre-amplifier from the amplification section to reduce interference. While most amplifiers use a single transformer with a separate power supply regulation for the pre-amplification and amplification sections, the Marantz Model 30 amp involves separate power supplies for the preamplifier and for the amplification channels. A toric transformer is thus dedicated specifically to the preamplifier, so that the weakest signals processed in this section are not affected by the current needs of the power output stages. The power section of the Marantz Model 30 amplifier is powered by an SMPS transformer. Combined with many capacitors, this allows the Marantz Model 30 to retain a large current reserve in order to fully exploit the Hypex Ncore NC500 OEM amplification modules. These modules are designed to offer the widest possible frequency range and dynamism. They are thus particularly adapted to current ultra-high-resolution audio formats, helped in this by custom-made capacitors offering the fastest possible response to important current requests. The Marantz Model 30 amp is thus able to instantly deliver up to 2 x 100 watts RMS under 8 ohms or 2 x 200 watts under 4 ohms. It is thus able to serenely power the vast majority of compact and column speakers on the market. The Marantz Model 30 amplifier has a two-stage phono preamplifier. Cellui is optimized to minimize interference by implementing Marantz HDAM modules associated with JFET transistors in the input stage, which increases impedance. This design removes coupling capacitors, which further reduces disturbances and optimizes the accuracy of the signal captured by the cell. This pre-amplifier is compatible with turntables with an MM or MC cell. For the latter, a gain adjustment (Low, Mid or High) is available by a potentiometer implanted on the front of the Marantz Model 30.
