There may be problems with the ASIO driver
Review
Before buying, I looked at a lot of reviews on various interfaces, and having weighed all the software and all against it stopped on this option.
I write at home through a stationary computer, outside the house through the laptop.
And if on the computer everything got up immediately and good, then on the laptop I had to tinker ... The problem with the driver.
I’ll say right away, there and there and there Win10 x64, identical software - Daw Reaper.
The only difference was that at the PC I first installed the driver from the office of the site, and only then connected the card. But on the laptop, I did the opposite ... For some reason, he first stuck the card, and only then climbed to pump firewood. What happened in the end - there is a card, the system sees it, if you put the device by default - the sound goes. But in Reaper, when choosing an asio map, there are empty windows to choose from in and out channels. + Error Initializing Asio Driver. The driver reinstalled, the software updated - invariably. I put another DAW - a similar problem. Through Asio4all, the card is connected, not through the native Asio. Search on the Internet led me in a couple of places to describe this problem, but I never found solutions, like those people actually.
T.K. There is always a set of software with me, I threw off Windows in an hour and rolled everything in a new one - now it works.
I don’t know if there is a dependence of this problem on a series of connections or a card do not like something in a specific Windows assembly, but the fact remains - the card can blow up the brain.
Yes, I do not exclude that I am crookedly and did not do something wrong, but everything always worked, but here on.
If possible, I will leave a link to the description of the problem with other musicians, maybe decisions and sensible answers will appear in these branches.
