Klipsch Surround Speaker THX-5000-SUR Black
As part of the THX family, the THX-5000-SUR surround loudspeaker with Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) brings a new dimension of reality to home theater by using the same high-performance technology as the Klipsch professional cinema systems.
The THX-5000-SUR produces a smooth, seamless, broad distribution of sound by employing a pair of Cerametallic woofers and dual square Tractrix Horn tweeters in a Wide Dispersion Surround Technology array. WDST is the industry's no-compromise approach to surround speaker design because it offers both rich, immersion surround sound and precise localization of individual effects from a speaker that has much more placement flexibility than conventional designs.
This surround's sealed enclosure has the dado and rabbet construction used in Klipsch professional speakers, ensuring cabinet integrity in suspended applications. The Omni-Mount suspension points facilitate wall or ceiling mounting using standard hardware.
Available in a custom Galaxy black finish with an aluminum fascia, the THX-5000-SUR also utilizes top-of-the-line internal wiring to help listeners experience the true impact and exhilaration of surround sound.

About brand
Klipsch
Paul W. Klipsch believed four principles to be the foundation for great sound. They continue to drive the design of every new Klipsch speaker, today and tomorrow:
High Efficiency / Low Distortion
Klipsch horn technology is highly efficient, providing more accurate sound with less power and less distortion – resulting in louder, cleaner audio. Klipsch’s Law: Efficiency is inversely proportional to distortion.
Controlled Directivity
Klipsch horn technology accurately directs sound to the proper locations, which, in turn, creates a more lifelike soundstage without wasting acoustic energy where sound is not needed or desired.
Wide Dynamic Range
The softest sounds are reproduced with remarkable clarity and the loudest sounds are delivered without harshness or distortion – with the greatest possible range between the softest and loudest sounds.
Flat Frequency Response
Audio is delivered without frequency bias – no unnatural highs, mids or lows – reproducing recorded sound as accurately as possible without colorization.
