Klipsch In-Wall Speaker THX-8000-S Black
Engineered to bring real cinema sound to the comforts of home without taking up valuable floor space, the THX-8000-S offers the ultimate performance in a hidden solution loudspeaker. Lifelike sound travels around the listener with unbelievable acoustic reproduction. Every seat in the house gets cinematic audio when surround sound is being pumped through these all-new Klipsch Pro THX speakers.
The speaker is made in a closed case with a fiberboard front panel and has deep damping to eliminate sound staining at high volume. The Klipsch THX-8000-S features a low-frequency speaker with an aluminum diffuser mounted on an anti-resonance basket. The rigid and lightweight speaker diffuser is driven by an efficient and powerful magnetic system, allowing it to move quickly with a large amplitude along a linear trajectory. To reproduce high frequencies in the speaker, two horn tweeters are used, located on the front panel one under the other. Thanks to the special configuration of the horns, the radiation patterns of the emitters are oriented at a certain angle in opposite directions. This results in a significant expansion of the ambient sound space, similar to the use of dipole speakers, but unlike the latter, the Klipsch THX-8000-S provides greater flexibility in placement.
