It has exceeded all expectations. It is absolutely silent when no music is playing. There is no hum, no hissing. The power is more than enough to cleanly run my speakers. It has excellent sound, with plenty of headroom when playing loud passages. At 1/2 volume it drives me out of the room. It also runs cool at that volume, no heating issues at all.
