The HEOS Amp is designed to be used as an amplifier in a multiroom HEOS system, and is capable of working with any pair of speakers, providing the same independence from wires.
With advanced Class D digital amplification, the HEOS Amp delivers 100 watts of gain per channel with low distortion and delivers high output current. Compatible with low-impedance speakers.
Suitable for any type of speaker system, including all-weather, built-in, floor-mounted or shelf-mounted.
In addition to the stereo pre-amplification outputs, there is also a subwoofer output, a line-in for connecting analog (using an RCA cable) sources, an optical input, and an auxiliary (AUX) input with a 3.5 mm jack for direct connection to the headphone jack of a portable device.
The HEOS Amp has a built-in dual-band wireless adapter that provides connectivity to standard home wireless networks (802.11 a / b/g/n/ac, 2.4 and 5 GHz). In addition to wireless connectivity, the HEOS Amp is also equipped with an RJ-45 connector for connecting to a wired Ethernet network. The USB port allows you to connect a portable USB drive, and you can also use the USB connection to charge your portable devices.
As with models of HEOS wireless speakers, you can also stream music and control HEOS Amp with the free HEOS App available for iOS and Android devices. Also with this App, you can choose to listen to tracks from your smartphones, tablets or portable audio players, as well as find your favorite songs on numerous Internet radio stations or online services.
Exclusive digital technology provides precise audio synchronization (within microseconds) for maximum audio fidelity and stereo scene quality.
The case of the HEOS Amp stereo amplifier is elegantly framed with stylish silver inserts. For easy operation, there are volume up/down and mute buttons on the side panel.
