Burmester 077 Reference Preamplifier
The 077 self-adjusting phono stage can automatically compensate for any channel imbalances of pickup systems. The result is a more precise and extended soundstage. Additional attractions of this model are its X-Amp2 amplification stages and its control via the BurLink technology. Operating the 077 is intuitive and does not distract from a relaxed listening experience. Its visual appearance bespeaks the typical Burmester design language.
Due to its module slot for one of four optional modules, the 077 is prepared for all eventualities. The integrated surround thruput allows the perfect integration into home theatre systems.
Features:
- Dual-mono design for maximum channel separation;
- Completely DC-coupled without capacitors in the signal path;
- Volume is set using a developed volume control circuit board (Burmester: 60 steps / dB: 85 steps);
- Input sensitivity adjustable by +/- 6dB for each input individually;
- RECORD-Output with high-performance operational amplifier;
- Combined RECORD and 2nd zone output for two-zone applications;
- Global setup for individual settings;
- Separate setup for each zone individually;
- Phase inversion for each input and every zone;
- Separate balance control for each zone;
- The CMOS technology for switching of inputs;
- The CPU technology (ensures capability for future upgrades of controlling);
- Display brightness programmable in 4 levels;
- Remote control by other components (master/slave) via DC in/out connection;
- Burmester Link for external control via RS232 and USB;
- Optional modules - Phono MC/MM (sym XLR); Line (RCA); DAC (USB, RCA): - Selectable automatic calibration for phono; - Phono MM module with programmable input capacitance; - Phono MC module with programmable loads; - DAC module with upsampling choice of 96kHz or 192kHz.

About brand
Burmester
Burmester was the first manufacturer to offer a fully DC-coupled signal path from pickup system to speaker. In 1987 Burmester developed the first remote controlled speaker adjustment with relay circuit resistors.Dieter Burmester brought the first belt-driven CD player to the market and still today holds the reference title for the tonal benefits of this innovative drive concept.Burmester is the first High-End sound manufacturer worlwide to be implemented in a luxury automobile. Bugatti, for whom Burmester developed an exclusive sound system over the course of three years, implemented the system in the model 16.4 Veyron. With a High-End surround sound system for the Porsche Panamera, Burmester set a new benchmark for automotive sound. Today, this award-winning system is available in all Porsche models.
