At the same time, it does not matter at all which direction of music you prefer.
All the silver body elements of the Bowers & Wilkins P3 are not plastic or even expensive plastic, but real metal. There is no usual smooth plastic in the design of these headphones at all. Instead, a soft rubberized material is used, exactly the same as that used to braid audio cables. It is pleasant to the touch, does not scratch and leaves almost no fingerprints, although it attracts dust.
Bowers & Wilkins P3 cups are very unusual. They have a composite closed structure, the main part of which is milled from aluminum. Inside there is a transducer, which is covered on the outside with soft rubberized pads, and on the other side there are soft removable ear pads. On the outside, there is only an imposing metal oval with the inscription "Bowers & Wilkins" emblazoned on it.
The ear pads are attached to the cups with strong magnets. By removing the ear pads, the user gets access to a mesmerizing picture. The metal body of the earcups has a figured milled groove for laying the audio cable. In the central part, behind a tightly stretched synthetic mesh, a speaker is hidden. It is not only the unusual design for headphones that is fascinating, but also the impeccable quality of workmanship. Everything is so clearly and precisely fitted and installed that you involuntarily begin to treat these headphones as an ultra-precise expensive mechanism. The Bowers & Wilkins P3 is beautiful and original both inside and out.
