Bowers & Wilkins Marine 8 In-ceiling Speaker White/Black
Marine 8 is a two-way speaker with a 25 mm (1 inch) tweeter and a 200 mm (8 inch) polypropylene bass/midrange head. The IP66-rated speaker is incredibly durable when properly installed. Although this speaker is larger than the other Marine Series model, it requires an opening only 93 mm (3.7") deep and 249 mm (9.8") wide.
Marine 8, the larger of the two speakers in the Bowers & Wilkins Marine Series range, features a 25mm (1in) tweeter and a 200mm (8in) polypropylene bass/midrange head. This combination delivers the purest sound in the harshest of environments.
Thanks to its high IP66 rating, the speaker can withstand extreme temperatures, salt spray and even direct water spray, which is common in marine environments. The metal grille and mounts are made of stainless steel for use in marine environments. The head chassis is made of non-corrosive rigid polymer, and the tweeter dome is back supported to prevent permanent deformation by water jets.
The Marine 8 delivers superior sound under the harshest of circumstances thanks to its high durability.
