This large 3-way center channel speaker offers unparalleled power and transparency, with extremely convincing dialogue reproduction. It is designed to work in conjunction with the older speakers in the range, such as the Bowers & Wilkins 703 S2 floorstanding speakers.
Carbon dome tweeters are an all-new technology specifically developed for the 700 series. Providing a drastic improvement over the double aluminium dome, it pushes the 1st resonance frequency back to 47 kHz.
First introduced in the 800 Diamond Series, the Continuum cone represents the biggest step forward in midrange drivers since the introduction of Kevlar. The braided coated material provides precisely controlled resonances, resulting in a more open and neutral midrange.
Calculated using state-of-the-art computer simulation techniques, the Aerofoil profile provides high strength and rigidity exactly where it is needed most. The result is deep and dynamic bass.
