Bowers & Wilkins Ceiling Speaker CCM632
The B&W CCM632 is designed for installation in suspended ceiling structures with the necessary depth of the internal cavity. The speaker operates in the full frequency range, which ranges from 100 Hz to 17 kHz (6 dB in terms of level), however, unlike most models in this class, it is equipped with a single full-range speaker. This solution made it possible to improve the quality of transmission of mid-frequencies, that is, to make the sound of voices and musical instruments more articulate and natural.
The speaker in the B&W CCM632 is equipped with a paper cone with excellent acoustic properties. The driver is mounted on a non-resonating plastic chassis, and the front panel of the speaker acts as a sound guide that aligns the polar pattern in various conditions. Another feature of the B&W CCM 632 design that greatly expands the possibilities of its application is the presence of its own housing. It forms a fixed load for the speakers and makes the sound of the speaker independent of the parameters of the internal ceiling cavity in which it is installed.
The installation of the B&W CCM632 is very convenient thanks to the use of three patented ZipDog latches, with which the speaker can be quickly inserted into a caught hole, and if necessary, dismantled.
