Bowers & Wilkins 702 S2 Floorstanding Speakers Satin White
The flagship 700 Series floorstanding speaker is equipped with the most advanced technology, including a carbon dome tweeter in a massive chassis. Milled from solid aluminium, the massive tweeter housing creates an acoustically optimised shape – an exceptionally inert and anti-resonance structure.
First introduced in the 700 Series, the Continuum cone represents the biggest step forward for midrange drivers since the advent of Kevlar. The braided coated material provides precisely controlled resonances, resulting in a more open and neutral midrange.
The midrange drivers in the floorstanding models have mechanical isolation, similar to the design used in the 700 Series. It reduces the color of the sound caused by the vibrations of the cabinet and improves the transparency of the midrange.
Calculated using state-of-the-art computer simulation techniques, the Aerofoil profile provides high strength and rigidity exactly where it is needed most. The result is deep and dynamic bass.
