The Analog Renaissance Mjollnir Clamp is named Mjollnir in honour of the hammer of the Scandinavian Thor. The clamp provides vibration damping of the record and platter for a cleaner sounding music. The clamp is easy to use as it acts by its weight. The Analog Renaissance Mjollnir Clamp is simply placed on the platter mounted on the turntable. Place the clamp in the centre of the disc. The depth of the spindle hole is 17mm, making it compatible with most vinyl turntables.
The clamp is precision manufactured from aluminium and is balanced so that its placement does not upset the balance of the platter itself. The Analog Renaissance Mjollnir Clamp has a black finish, its underside covered with rubber to protect the record label from damage. The top of the clamp has a leather coating and logo on the top. The Analog Renaissance Mjollnir Clamp has a longitudinal notch that ensures it is held securely in the hand. The clamp weighs 354 grams and does not put undue stress on the vinyl turntable's support bearing.
