Acoustic Energy Center Channel Speaker AE107 Walnut
The Acoustic Energy AE 107 center channel loudspeaker is designed for home theater and multi-channel music systems. It provides exceptional articulation and detail in the vocal range, complemented by powerful bass thanks to a precisely calculated slotted phase-inverter port. The compact center channel speaker can be placed on a shelf or mounted on a wall. The AE 107 is the perfect complement to a theater set based on the 100 Series Anniversary Edition.
Two 100mm diameter paper long-throw mid/woofer drivers and a 28mm soft fabric dome tweeter form a two-way configuration. The crossover is designed to keep time and phase delays to a minimum. The latest-generation magnetic system of the mid/woofer drivers provides unprecedented speed and accuracy of diaphragm movement.
WDT (Wide Dispersion Technology), designed to reduce the impact of room acoustics, is a waveguide in which a quality tweeter head is placed, allowing high frequencies to fill the space evenly, contributing to a holographic soundstage. WDT, in fact, is a development of DXT (Diffraction Expansion Technology), which was used in the acoustics of the top series Acoustic Energy Reference.
The cabinet is made of MDF, the walls are 18 mm thick, and there are baffles inside that reflect excessive resonances. The slotted port of the phase-inverter is precisely calculated and placed on the rear side of the cabinet. The exterior design has been noticeably modernized. The AE 107 is sleek: not a single mounting screw or joint is visible. With its small size, quality finish, neat assembly and lightweight design, this speaker can be easily integrated into any modern interior. It can be shelf-mounted or wall-mounted.
