The AE500 this is compact stand-mount loudspeaker from flagship 500 Series. Following on from the award winning AE100 and AE300, the AE500 offers a significant step up in audio quality, materials, and cabinet finish.
The 500 Series features newly developed carbon fibre tweeter and mid/bass drivers, designed to match the pistonic power and accuracy of legendary ceramic aluminium drivers but with improved self-damping for a smoother, more transparent sound.
Speaker stands are more than just an aesthetic combination with loudspeakers. Most stands fall into one of two camps - stiff and light, which give life to the speaker and "bounce" and sometimes lose a little in direct bass weight - or massively heavy, giving a
solid and powerful bass, and sometimes taking the life of the speaker in the higher frequencies. The ACOUSTIC Energy speaker stand is different in many ways from the above options. It offers the best of both worlds - relative massiveness, allowing the speakers to retain a buoyant and lively sound. Included with the stand are insulating speaker support pads, ensuring a perfect connection between the speaker and the top panel without damaging the peaks in the enclosures.
