Review

I used to have a set of Yamaha HS8s, but I swapped them for these as the HS8s were too bulky and I found them too harsh in the midrange. These are great little speakers that are easy to move around and can be used with a laptop, TV or mobile devices. Very happy with them. The sound is so amazing. Completely out of proportion to their small size. The bass is amazing, but even more so how musical these speakers are. The Bluetooth sound quality is also beyond expectations - it's really very good. Appearance is also a strong point, in light grey they look stylish and very high quality. Without a doubt, they are worth their money.

About brand

Ruark Audio is a British family business founded in Rayleigh (Essex) in 1985 by Brian O'Rourke and his son Alan, both music enthusiasts. Father and son worked for 14 months to launch their first two pairs of compact speakers in 1986. Called Saber and Broadsword, they received an enthusiastic welcome from retailers and the specialized press. The following year, a prestigious column speaker named Accolade was produced. Sold for £2,500 a pair, it received accolades from the audiophile press and established Ruark's reputation in the high-end audio manufacturer market.
