First of all, these headphones are fantastic. Honestly, I'm a sound engineer/mixer, so my ears can hear the difference between these and less expensive headphones. The differences are mainly in the clarity of the treble without harshness and the clarity of the bass without what I would describe as excessive fatness. Compared to my Sony 7506s, which are a good standard, the soundstage seems wider.
I like them a lot compared to my 7506s, which is what I was hoping for. They are more comfortable, more isolated and have a superior soundstage in almost every way. I can hear things clearly and distinctly in them that I could barely make out in the 7506s.
The only problem is the metal wire near the earcup that allows you to wrap your ear around it has broken and is sticking out.
In conclusion, I am very pleased with these in-ear monitors. They are not cheap, but I am not disappointed with what they provide. If you can afford them, I highly recommend them.
