This is possible thanks to not large 12MV sensitivity for capacitor microphones. I use mainly at the studio for recording percussion tools, it works very well on the Kongs, Bongs, Cachon, Timphalez and as a review microphone for a drum installation. It also helps well when recording and voice acting tools at concerts, since it is not very susceptible to self -excitation, unlike highly sensitive condenser microphones. Of the advantages, I note its ability to work from a battery of the crown type, I used it when recording an interview, connecting to the video camera.
