Not only unbalanced RCA inputs but also balanced XLR inputs are available for connecting an AV processor, which extends the possibilities of switching a preamplifier or AV processor. The balanced connection allows you to achieve a cleaner and higher quality sound.
Musical Fidelity M6x 250.5 will delight you not only with its sound quality, but also with its superb design with impeccable metalwork. The front panel in black or silver is made of a custom Fine Line aluminum profile.
Each channel of the M6x 250.5 power amplifier features an unbalanced input with gold-plated RCA connectors and a balanced input with an XLR connector. If your AV processor or preamplifier has balanced XLR outputs it is recommended that you use them to connect the power amplifier. Balanced audio signal transmission provides better sound dynamics, reduces noise and distortion. And if there is a need to connect acoustics in a bi-amping scheme, use through outputs equipped with gold-plated RCA connectors. These allow you to connect an external power amplifier to each channel. The gold-plated speaker output terminals support 4mm banana or spade cable lugs and also allow you to secure stripped cable without special lugs. Trigger input and output allows synchronized switching of AV system components.
M6x 250.5 is a seven-channel power amplifier with a modular design. Each amplifier module delivers 250 watts into a 4 ohm load and operates in Class AB.
