The MR 780 stereo receiver is the epitome of Magnat's unique hybrid concept. In the pre-amplification stage, two selected ECC 81 run-in lamps work, thanks to which the system has a warm audiophile sound, so appreciated by adherents of high-end audio equipment.
The MR 780 offers exceptional user-friendliness and versatility. Signals are received by the stereo receiver via 5 high-level signal inputs or 2 optical and 2 coaxial digital inputs. There is also a 3.5 mm input jack on the front panel for connecting mobile devices. Even more convenient is a direct wireless connection using Bluetooth 4.0 technology with the aptX codec. Among the wide range of connectivity options provided in the MR 780 is an exceptionally high-quality phono stage designed for mobile magnet pickups, as well as a USB 2.0 audio input. Wolfson's high-end digital-to-analog converter converts all digital signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution. The built-in DAB/DAB+ digital tuner and FM receiver with RDS system and radio text further expand the already wide range of functions. A large two-line display on the front panel of the receiver constantly displays all important information for the user. The MR 780 has a stylish all-metal body that perfectly matches the MCD 750 thanks to its brushed aluminum front panel.
