Uni-Q sound
The Uni-Q driver array places the tweeter in the centre of the midrange and bass cone, bringing the acoustic ideal of a single point source closer than ever. The result, enhanced by KEF's 'tangerine' waveguide over the tweeter, is a more accurate three-dimensional sound that's dispersed evenly throughout the room.
System Design
Putting the Uni-Q driver in its own sealed cabinet reduces the load on the cone and increases clarity and detail while delivering cleaner bass. Midrange clarity is enhanced by driver improvements that mean the DC blocking capacitor to be eliminated from the crossover, allowing a more natural roll-off between drivers.
Tweaking the Tweeter
With the addition of the damped tweeter loading tube providing a gentle termination of sound produced from the back of the tweeter, lower treble performance is improved dramatically and a low-distortion inductor on the crossover provides cleaner bass. The Q Series reproduces the nuances of bass instruments with ease. With a larger roll surround and suspension KEF drivers produce cleaner bass at high volumes. The KEF Q150 sang with this model of the stereracean is expected to be better than with napliks (they have a very low min. Impedance), but what is unexpected for me is very better. Maybe the sound is slightly more dry and slightly smaller, but very detailed, there is almost no porridge, the HF is light and the ears do not get tired. In addition, the Tannoy MX10 (zya, 10 inches) is well combined, it adds volume, but at the same time, does not spoil the detail. They play only a couple of hours, perhaps after warming up the sound will change. I listen to the music not loudly, the room is 42kv. And no acoustically prepared, the point of listening about three meters from the center between the AC, installed on the cabinet at a distance of 2 meters from each other. For a budget setup, I definitely recommend.

After listening to them from the sofa, he did not return to the table.
