3-way floorstanding loudspeaker
The Chora 826 bass-reflex loudspeaker is the embodiment of an accessible high-fidelity solution for a complete listening pleasure. Equipped with the exclusive Slatefiber cone developed and manufactured at the Focal site in France, the speaker drivers deliver balanced and precise midranges and perfectly articulated bass; leaving you to enjoy a big, full and generous sound. In addition, the presence of an aerodynamic front port eliminates distortion and gives more impact in the bass.
Its sleek, modern design combined with your choice of finish, and the tilted stand for a better sound image, make Chora 826 the flagship model of this line, ideal for large rooms.
The TNF Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter
The surround linking the dome to its stand uses a memory foam material called Poron. This surround is directly derived from the Utopia’s famous Beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion by a third between 2,000 Hz and 3,000 Hz, the ear’s high-sensitivity range. The spatialisation and very low directionality of the inverted dome allow silky trebles to be heard from any point in your listening room.
A sleek, modern design
The Chora range boasts a modern design, all lifted onto a tilted stand for Time Alignment, which provides an optimal soundstage, more focused on the listener. The slate colour of the Slatefiber cone adds a final refined, authentic touch.
Features:
Appearance. Sound. Convenience of placement.
In my room (20 sq. M), the bass at 50Hz is a bit too much for my taste.
Excellent speakers for their money (about 80 or 90 thousand rubles a year ago cost). The port of the phase inverter in front, which allows them to put them close to the wall.
True, these large holes turned out to be very seductive for the child to put something in them)))
On the other hand, a huge plus is that tweeters are protected by non -removable metal grilles.
They look very beautiful (especially color versions).
In sound, no complaints except the features I described in the disadvantages. In my opinion, one of the best in his class.
PS: pah-pah for a year with a little suspension did not crack)))

The sound is good, medium remarkable, high excellent, and low too.
Suspens in three prose speakers, a constructive marriage, not only mine cracked.
It makes no sense to change the same speakers, the guarantee is over. I will change the suspensions. Now I study which is better, rubber or polyurethane, how the sound will change. I do not condemn the remote control, they might not know about this marriage.

An even sound in the whole audible range. The bottoms are clear, fast and do not clog the middle. I liked the top, super on shock plates.
I haven't found it yet. I am listening to a month.
The photo looks worse than in real life. When I was buying, my wife would itch, the French always have a bust or shortage with a design. When I installed I was satisfied. They look vying in lively and do not spoil the grilles, although in the photo with grills sucks. I liked the sound and my wife, that the columns are almost universal, the classic is normal, but when the BSO fully turns on, something is missing, maybe Rotel is guilty, but the rock inserts cool.

A wonderful sound, an elegant look, convenient magnetic grills that I do not even take off when listening.
On one of the speakers there was a defect - on the medium -frequency dynamics of a dent. On the sound, this does not reflect in any way, but unpleasant. Still, the goods are manufactured in France, manually.
Having created a system of modern Hi Fi in 2018, I found the desire to create a new, higher level. The former included Denon 720 + Heco 520 Prime. Since financial capabilities are very limited, I could not buy the whole system at once and had to start somewhere. What to consider primary speakers or an amplifier in the system? Managers unanimously affirmed the priority of the amplifier. I would have done so, and still accumulated a long time to the amplifier if Focal had not gone to the state -owned action for the Russians and did not undertake a brilliant marketing move, reducing the price exclusively by 25%. Having connected the speakers to the Denon 720 bunch, I immediately felt a significant improvement in sound. This manifested itself primarily in the sound of percussion instruments, percussion. The sound seemed to scatter through the speakers (there are 1 more of them than in Heco and this is audible.) The scene has expanded, the detail has increased, stereo-bosom has become wider. I was very pleased. Improving sound occurred approximately as the price tag on the product shows. I am listening mostly rock. Heco classics played no worse, but in rock the superiority of Focal is obvious. I recommend to everyone who loves high -quality sound, but has no big income. I listen to 20-25 meters in a room.

I bought 18m2 in the room is olitely, middle, the bass in the cinema even without a subwoofer is super!
After a year of use, he noticed that microcracks appeared along the contour of diffusers, this is not good.
I bought it in the 18m2 room as a whole, everyone suits, I hope they will last a long time. I advise you to take as a good floor pair. Everything is satisfied with the movie and music, the only one upset after the year of use there were microcracks in all the speakers, which is upset, although it is possible for everyone now. They make acoustics for 5 years, 10 maximum. I use the 826 choir from the AB receiver Yamaha 459. In the future, I think to buy Denon 800n, or what else will come out.
