Originally conceived for convivial spaces, this twining sound object is composed of twelve spherical speaker-fruits suspended from the ceiling by creeper-cables, ripe for the picking.
Each speaker weighs 2.5 kg and is equipped with a 4-inch 30W coaxial speaker. All speakers are connected to an 8-inch subwoofer that simulates a tree trunk using red cords that mimic branches or vines.
By scaling the number of speakers, it can be adapted to any environment, intimate or social. It is presented for the first time at Milano’s Triennale during Design Week. "Sound Tree" starts a collection of haute couture sound objects.

Founded in 1938, Elipson is the oldest brand specializing in the manufacture of high-end French loudspeakers.More than 60 patents later, Elipson has carved out a place for itself in world acoustics thanks to many now iconic loudspeakers. One of the first achievements of this new team is the 4260 loudspeaker to reinscribe Elipson in its history and its know-how in very high fidelity. For the general public, Elipson has created the Planet L and Planet M, spherical speakers that illustrate the brand's desire to invest in the territory of the house, thanks to an object as beautiful as it is acoustically efficient. The full-range of the historic loudspeakers is replaced by a coaxial driver that precisely focuses the sound and helps create a deep and wide soundstage.Elipson thus synthesizes the best of both eras.
