The system includes a pre-amplifier, power amplifier, CD player and 32-bit DAC, "catches" FM, digital (DAB) and Internet radio (TuneIn). Integrated into the network, Lyric operates with streaming music, receives wired analog and digital signals (the digital switching richness in this case is non-standard), and connects wirelessly via Bluetooth aptX and Wi-Fi.
The device is able to operate with a glow thanks to the built — in proximity sensor, and the remote control, which is sensitive to movement, helpfully turns on the button illumination once in your hands.
The smart system automatically adjusts the Lyric settings depending on the connected speakers. Thanks to the power-up with a margin, it is possible to use any speakers.
Not only the Power button, but also all Lyric controls are touch-sensitive. They are grouped on either side of the central display by two four-pointed stars. The left group is designed to navigate through the menu, the right group is designed to control audio playback.
Next to the display is an illuminated slot of the disc receiver. Lyric is equipped with a disk drive of a fairly high level, similar to that used in Cyrus CDt transport. The manufacturer has provided three ways to control the component: using the buttons on the device body, using the remote control, or using the Cadence proprietary application for i-gadgets. The smart system automatically adjusts the Lyric settings depending on the connected speakers.
The system is equipped with three USB ports. The first one (Type A), hidden behind the lid in the lower right corner of the front panel (along with a 3.5 mm headphone output), is addressed to iPhone/iPad and external drives (FAT 16/32); the rear USB ports are designed for switching with a computer using 32-bit memory cards.Cyrus bit DAC (B) and software update (mini). Other digital switching is represented by two coaxial and optical inputs. A fairly wide range of supported audio file formats includes WAV, FLAC, and AIFF with parameters up to 24 bits / 192 kHz. Analog interfaces are represented by a line input and output.
