I have owned an SV237 MK amplifier for 3 years now. At first I had a problem with random static and noise from the 6N1P-EV tubes. After 2 years, I found out that the issue was that the tubes had almost hardly corroded pins which caused intermittent contact. I replaced the 6N1P-EVs with 6N1Ps with gold plated pins and the problem was solved. As for the sound of the amp, it is very punchy and dynamic. I like it, as I listen to classic rock all the time, and the Vincent suits it like a million dollars)) The amplifier set up with a pair of Elac Carina floorstanders and an Elac SUB1010 subwoofer. Together they create a sound that I'm very satisfied with. I was also glad to see that there are multiple inputs for sources. The built-in DAC is also quite good. Vincent SV237 MK has the advantages of tubes on the front end and a powerful semiconductor on the output. It's the perfect mix for lovers of fine detail in music and powerful punch in those moments when it's needed. I haven't regretted for a moment that I bought the SV237 MK. I think it will be with me for many years to come.
The German brand VINCENT was registrated in 1995 as a trade mark by Sintron Distribution GmbH in Iffezheim/Germany. Since the foundation Sintron develops further continually the products of the high-end brand. German know-how guarantees a high-quality, excellent and secure series manufacture in far east – high-class parts and above-average processed housings provide the brand’s high “inner values”. Product development takes place in Germany.
VINCENT stands for a continual orientation to 2-channel stereo in the high end class. There are two electrical concepts. On one side there are the solid state products - equipment that is based on pure transistor technology. Products of the solidLine are one example to be mentioned. They have a precise, light and dynamic sound design.
