The Dali Oberon 5 is the best floor speaker I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. They don’t occupy an overwhelming amount of space,they sound amazing when listening to music. In general terms, the Oberon 5 struck a satisfyingly warmer tonal balance, offering good extension and well-focused detail. Musically it lit up the room from the first track with good timing and pace. Low-frequency response flirted with the 40Hz range, as advertised, and was surprisingly weighty with solid midbass dynamic punch and better than expected pitch definition. At more or less reasonable levels the O5 maintains its composure and cleanly delineates every cue, from the pump and drive of a 50Hz synth beat to a bass drum’s impact to the rolling cascade of a row of timpani.

Dali impresses with its balance of effectiveness and price. The Opticon6 MK2 is really magnificent! The speaker can make a very natural and fresh sound. That’s why all songs are more dynamic and vividly. The Opticon contains a few Dali custom technologies, such as the Hybrid tweeter. It consists of a soft Dome tweeter (29 mm) and a ribbon tweeter from aluminum (17 x 45 ). When we say about the amplification of the frequency range over 14000 we can say it works perfectly. The frequency response reaches up to 30k hz. Meanwhile, it has an excellent horizontal dispersion and the off-axis response is superb. I like it ! The opticon MK2 woofer has mixed wood-fiber paper diaphragm. Its firmness and damping are enough, so there is very low distortion when the cone splits. That’s why the music sounds so natural. The cabinet of Opticon speakers is made of MDF and finished with a beautiful texture that is pleasant to the touch. Dali has used a roughly woven fabric that consists of large threads for the Opticon grille. That series looks really awesome. I have never regretted buying the Opticon6 MK2!

I purchased Dali's flagship floorstander a couple weeks ago and my expectations were high. Spektor is made of solid wood vinyl wrap and leather effect. It looks mind-blowing. The build quality is good rather than excellent. But these speakers remain respectable and well finished. Floorstanding speakers easily fill a room with open sound. At the same time, they can go pretty loud. The bass is elastic, Dali highlights guitars, and handles the changing dynamics well. But there are some disadvantages as well. We’d like a more rich and insightful midrange. Voices sometimes sound a touch vague, which loses the power of some songs.
