RME ADI-2 FS Multi-format Converter
RME ADI-2 FS is a more affordable version of the popular ADI-2 PRO studio converter.
The interface features balanced analog inputs and outputs, as well as monitoring capability via a powerful headphone output. The new AA mode comes in handy for using the ADI-2 FS as a standalone preamplifier with digital output, while the DD mode is useful for standalone digital format conversion with digital signal monitoring capability.
The ADI-2 FS utilizes the conversion technology from the ADI-2 Pro, on the same AK4490 DAC and AK557x ADC converter chips with minimal distortion and wide dynamic range. Adopts the updated SteadyClock FS clock circuitry from the ADI-2 PRO FS for optimum conversion quality.
The front panel of the interface has multi-segment pictograms and mode indicators. The interface is powered by the included external power adapter with snap-in connector. There is a possibility of mobile use with a rechargeable battery thanks to a wide operating voltage range of 9 - 15 volts.
