I managed to get out and listen to this vaunted unit with columns in the local showroom, which interested me no less. I decided to pick up modern pollniks for rock and began with Klipsh RP 5000 (there were no others). I had the opportunity to hear the abundance of statements that Maranz is not for rock, but to my surprise, this ligament showed all its best qualities and surpassed my expectations. But for wiretaps, I specifically brought my discs, the content of which is difficult for reproduction by any means due to the density and saturation of instruments and all kinds of sound nuances. (Threshold, Opeth, Kansas) Marantz perfectly coped with all the trials and clips also showed themselves excellent! Now the second day I get sick to buy Marantz.

This is me about the phono-corrector, which in my system sounded 70-100 thousand (I just the other day drove the senior phono-corrector Teac). Some kind of mystery on the face! At first I thought that trouble -free Japs and fools glued their Music Phono EQs and now they are plowing them to everyone, putting them in anywhere. But it seems that there was no such squeezing behind them? This is of course not jerky Anglo-Saxons who are ready for an extra puck, but the thing is still serious and obviously not for service as a “plug” to beginner vinylovodes. With him, my Rega Planar-6 with Exact sounded great, and there were no special claims to the MS. After the Teac, on one of the transrient tonarms, a black cadenza orthopon still hung and played only a couple of drops worse, rather and they are at the level of IMHO. Well, I decided to torture further. I connected the senior shelf B&P 705 of the series (with a pipe on the head) and wow! This is not at all my speakers, not my character of the sound, but then they sounded like that when I once connected them to the initial Macintoshas. All the annoyance of the RF evaporated, if you do not look, then the system in soundtrack just jumped to the next level. It became completely interesting! Okay, I brought from the country house the shelf Ma Patinum and the situation became even more interesting ... But this is the supply of speakers that are easy to carry on the hump, I have dried up. For myself, I made a simple conclusion: this amp at its price is clearly aimed at connecting to the AP twice as much as its price, and from the B& Wid toys I once had the same impressions and how the result was cool. I did not check with his city floor speakers, there are one pair and obviously completely from the other universe with T.Z. Designs and ideologies (they are also a complex load for most of the strengthenes of their price category), but the device is simply transformed with shelf models of the top Hi-Fi class. I’ll take it back to the salon, I will definitely listen to the focal focal Kant, very curious. I once listened to the 30th Marants with them.

The amplifier works with the acoustics of the Monitor Audio Gold 200 on the Qed wires, connected to the Bi-Adfing amplifier, the Monitor Audio Silver W12 subwoofer is also connected with a filter up to 40 Hz on RCA (it really adds to the bottom itself, does not spoil the sound and creates the overall sound picture of the concert hall ), the room is approximately 40 m2. In general, it is very good, I recommend buying, there is something to compare in terms of other amplifiers (with this amplifier there is some kind of crazy transparency!).
