The German designed and engineered Heco Sub 30A is an unbelievable subwoofer for its cost. A great subwoofer should go deep, be very fast, and be able to accurately reproduce music and special effects. That takes an excellent speaker driver, a capable amplifier, and a very inert cabinet that will not resonate. The Sub 30A covers all these points like nothing have seen for the price.
Heco uses a classic mid century type cone for the woofer design, literally injected with modern technology. Their famous Kraft paper cone consists of renewable source pulp with German made wool fibers for great stiffness. This 12” driver is super fast and reaches very deep.
It is powered by a real class A/B power amp with audiophile type adjustment controls on the rear. The cabinet itself is almost 1” thick with a really great L shaped baffle made from a totally dead resin material to completely eliminate resonance.

It is only necessary to rearrange the jumper in a neutral position on the terminal block. In the cabin, the guys wanted, apparently, so that acoustics seem more bright.

I bought acoustics in a room of 16 square meters. In general, of course they play super. Powerful, drivers. Convey all the nuances of the record to the smallest details. But there are shortcomings: the speakers sound insanely open and bright. Even with an amplifier soft in sound, the ears are simply cut out as Denon 2500. On some tracks, listening is simply uncomfortable. The second problem of the bass. They bash like good nobolniki. In a small room, acoustics simply squeeze out its sound pressure. The bass is not fast, not assembled, but chopped and howling. Take it if you have a room of at least squares 20. Acoustics are assembled completely in China. The German assembly does not smell here. The veneer is not the best quality. There are uneven sections at the junctions. On the veneer, the lines squeezed out in it and stripes from the tool, which was smoothed out during gluing. The color of the veneer is a grandmother's chest of drawers. It does not look good. It is better to take in varnish, it looks much more spectacular.
