BasX TA-2
The BasX TA2 model includes a stereo FM tuner, a pre-amplification section with line inputs for connecting analog signal sources, a built-in DAC with a wide selection of digital inputs, including high-resolution asynchronous USB, and a built-in Bluetooth receiver with aptX HD support, as well as a high-quality phono corrector that supports cartridges with a movable magnet (MM) and a movable. The amplification section is equipped with a toroidal transformer and an audiophile-quality Class A/B output amplifier stage, which provides high enough power to bring any acoustics to the optimal sound pressure level.
You can control the TA2 using simple controls on the front panel or the supplied IR remote control. The intuitive menu system makes the TA2 easy to set up and operate, and the large and clear bright blue VFD display on the front panel shows the current system status. You can combine the TA2 with a good pair of speakers to create a stereo system with great sound, or use a comprehensive active " bass management system” by adding a powerful subwoofer to create a 2.1-channel audiophile-quality system, or connect the TA2 to an external main amplifier.
The BasX TA2 builds on the legacy of TA-100 and TA1 amplifiers and adds some important features, including a more powerful bass control system and a set of home theater bypass inputs (HT Bypass), as well as increased power output, taking the evolution of available audiophile components one step further.
Pros
Full range preamp outputs

Review
a more powerful bass management system, a powerful internal stereo amplifier. Superb value
Pros
I'm happy with the purchase.
Cons
On the downside: the analog input sounds better than the built-in DAC. The analog inputs have a more accurate center image and sound more dynamic.

I bought this amp a couple weeks ago. And I must say that I really enjoy listening to music on it. When you take the amp out of the box, you immediately realize that you're looking at a cool device. For such a small size it is quite heavy, but it is even impressive. Emotiva BasX TA-2 is very functional, as it has some flexibility in connection. I like to listen to music loudly. This brings out a lot more details. You can even hear a triangle when listening to a symphony orchestra. But the Emotiva lets you hear that even at low volume levels. The fit and finish are top, although the design is pretty boring. I put the amplifier below the receiver on a stand. There are enough knobs on the front panel for controls and adjustments. I like being able to do it with my hands and not just a remote control!
